With its bohemian and picturesque image, it is one of the most charming corners of Mallorca. The town is located at the foot of a slope, with houses agglomerated and giving a wonderful view of the Mediterranean.
This paradise combines its natural beauty and social harmony with other earthly pleasures. This beautiful town has not gone unnoticed by artists, writers and creatives who have decided to stay in Deià and look for its source of inspiration there. Take advantage to discover the archaeological museum, the parish museum or the municipal cemetery that is behind the church.
Guided Tour Deià
His first mentions date from the 17th century. There are the tombs of the different personalities and artists who have died in Deià, such as those of the English writer and poet Robert Graves.
The Archaeological Museum of Deià: A visit to the museum is like travelling to the origins of modern archaeology in Mallorca and discovering the origins of the occupation of the island. In it, there are remains from the archaeological sites that William Waldren excavated from the late 1950s onwards when he came to the island from the USA
Another option is to get closer to the Torre de Sa Pedrissa, an old watchtower built to defend the coastline against the attacks of Berber and Ottoman pirates
from which we can see an unusual view of Na Foradada. To access the Tower we must deviate to the left before reaching the cove then we arrive at urbanisation until you reach a barrier. On the right bank, there is a path that leads us in 10 minutes to the tower.
We work with small groups of maximum 15 people.
